The Nestle Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discovers, develops and deploys coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provides new products and processes to all Nestle markets worldwide.

Position Summary

As a

R&D Data Science Intern

, you will be responsible for participating in innovative research and development projects across various Nestle R&D facilities. Collaborating with Nestle experts, you will help design the research tools of the future, contributing to advancements in data science and technology.

A Day in the Life of a R&D Data Science Intern

Assist in the development of digital tools for experts and product developers Support the evaluation and optimization of machine learning models Help produce various reports, including scientific studies and standard operating procedures, using Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and documenting your code

What will make you successful

Student or recent graduate with a Master's degree in Computer Science and/or Data Science Solid knowledge of programming Strong interest in science and technology Familiarity with data science and machine learning concepts Previous experience using Python is a plus Autonomous and proactive mindset Good communication skills in English
