For our Business Unit High Voltage Products in Zurich-Oerlikon, we are looking for an R&D Designer (f/m/d) to strengthen our R&D Team for High Voltage Circuit Breakers development.
In this role, you will be contributing to design and product development activities in our CAD/PLM landscape for ongoing R&D. Within this setting you will need to implement innovative by working together with engineers and other designers across our global organization, and be responsible for 3D/2D model data for the assigned projects to enhance our virtual product development from prototype to serial production.

How you'll make an impact
In this position you will join the design team with various responsibilities, such as:
Take responsibility for the 3D/2D CAD/PLM implementation from concept design to series production within product development projects on high voltage switching devices
Create, modify and analyze the design of selected components and assemblies of switching devices in close collaboration with R&D Engineers, and collaborate and support other project stakeholders, such as supply chain and product care
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our CAD/PLM/SAP related processes and activities and drive the overall model quality
Successfully completed apprenticeship as Konstrukteur/in EFZ*
Your background
Excellent know-how in CAD/PLM systems, ideally PTC CREO and PTC Windchill
Good Knowledge in SAP/Office
High expectations on quality of work in all regards
Independent, proactive and goal-oriented personality
Practically oriented and hands-on way of working
Team-player, committed, willing to learn
Good command of German both written and spoken
