We are looking for a hands-on Research Assistant to join our team and help us redefine what is possible in brain health.

Job Mission



We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our dynamic in vitro pharmacology team in Geneva. You will contribute to the screening and characterisation of allosteric modulators for our drug discovery projects and contribute to the identification of potential new drug candidates for human diseases with high unmet medical need. This role will involve working closely with team members to support cell culture, assay development and compound profiling activities. Responsibilities also include support for purchasing supplies and services associated with lab operations (inventory management, drafting and editing PO's).

We are seeking a passionate, self-driven, and strong team player, with excellent organisational and communication skills. This role provides a great opportunity to work within a vibrant neuroscience drug discovery environment and be part of a multidisciplinary team.

Required skills and experience.



Bachelor's or master's degree (or equivalent), in Molecular and Cellular Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, Neuroscience, Live Science Engineering, or in a related field Experience with mammalian cell culture methodologies Excellent laboratory skills and extensive hands-on experience with optimization and execution of in vitro biological assays (e.g. receptor functional and binding assays, using readouts such as fluorescence, FRET, BRET, etc.) Experience with screening using liquid handling platforms and other automation solutions and systems is an asset. Experience in using software packages to model and interpret complex data. Proactive mindset, combined with excellent communication, reporting and documentation skills. Ability to work efficiently and flexibly in a small team. Highly organized and self-motivated with a positive mindset. Good working knowledge of English and/or French Swiss Nationality or eligible for Swiss work permit Post-doctoral candidates will not be considered for this position.
