Research Associate in vitro & in vivo Immunology & Inflammation

Role and Responsibilities:





Support preclinical discovery programs for human therapeutic antibodies. Perform and set up cellular biology experiments to validate new targets primarily relevant to the field of immunology and neuroinflammation. Biochemical, histological, immunofluorescence in vitrocharacterization of lead candidates. Implement new cellular and biochemical assays, design, execution and reporting of in vitro, ex-vivo as well as in vivopreclinical research studies designed at assessing the therapeutic potential of drug candidates. Preparation, documentation, execution, analysis and reporting of in vivoPOC therapeutics studies. Communicate ideas and data in team meetings.

Requirements:





MSc, BSc or training as laboratory technician in Biology, Immunology, Biochemistry, or equivalent degree in biological sciences. Hands-on experience in cell biology techniques and experience in culturing mammalian cells is a must. Solid know-how in biochemical, immunological, and histological analysis techniques including ELISA, Western Blot, Immunoprecipitation, MSD, tissue processing, sectioning immunohistochemical and immunofluorescence staining. Automated imaging and microscope analysis including tool programming skills are highly desirable. Hands-on experience in pharmacology research, preferably in animal models of inflammatory diseases and autoimmune diseases - Introductory Course in Laboratory Animal Science (LTK1) or similar is a plus. Resilient, optimistic attitude, well organized, highly motivated and quick to learn. Ability to work efficiently both independently and collaboratively with a strong focus on teamwork. Good English communication skills both oral and written.
