Job Description

The Department of Radiation Oncology at Bern University Hospital (Inselspital) is seeking a research fellow / clinical research physician to support research projects in the field of genitourinary (GU) malignancies, with a particular focus on prostate cancer.

What you can expect

Design and development of study protocols for prospective and retrospective clinical studies Participation in clinical research projects (prospective and retrospective) Involvement in AI-based projects in radiation oncology Support in the preparation and submission of ethics applications, as well as in the set-up and maintenance of research databases Data analysis, study design and preparation of manuscripts Preparation of scientific presentations (publications, conference abstracts and talks) Support in the preparation of third-party funding applications (grant applications)

Your Profile

Medical degree (MD) Interest in clinical research in radiation oncology / GU tumours Previous experience in radiation oncology or in academic research/statistics is desirable but not mandatory Willingness to work in an interdisciplinary team Good written communication skills in a scientific context
