Brief Call

: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!

Interviews

(the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!

Case study

: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Your missions

Design efficient synthetic routes to target molecules using knowledge, experience, and digital tools Execute synthetic chemistry procedures safely and sustainably, partnering with automation, analytical, and purification platforms to maximize efficiency Conduct risk assessments of experimental procedures and raw materials in line with customer HSE standards Document and communicate experimental procedures and data with scientific accuracy for easy reproduction, retrieval, and secure IP Troubleshoot and solve synthetic chemistry challenges independently and within a team Maintain up-to-date knowledge of modern synthetic methods and technologies through continuous personal development Contribute to laboratory safety, productivity, and process improvement by identifying and escalating blockers

Your profile

Experience with synthetic organic chemistry: reaction design, retrosynthesis, troubleshooting, purification, and structural elucidation with high HSE standards Academic background: Master's degree in Chemistry or equivalent, or completion of full training through an apprenticeship program 3-5 years of industrial experience in synthetic chemistry Proficiency in software tools for synthesis design and data analysis Fluent English; other languages are a plus You have an ability to work collaboratively and autonomously, demonstrating self-motivation and strong communication skills
