Als Restaurant Manager:in sind Sie fur die folgenden Aufgaben verantwortlich

Erstellung und Kontrolle der Dienstplane und Urlaubsplanung Sicherstellung reibungsloser und gasteorientierter Arbeitsablaufe der F&B Abteilung in enger Zusammenarbeit mit allen Abteilungen des Hauses Forderung der Weiterentwicklung der Mitarbeiter, Fuhrung von Feedback- und Beurteilungsgesprachen Koordinierung der taglichen Arbeiten, um einen reibungslosen Serviceablauf, entsprechend unserer Qualitatsstandards in unseren Restaurants zu gewahren Personliche Betreuung und Beratung unserer Gaste Sicherstellung der Gastezufriedenheit mit hochsten Qualitatsstandards sowie professioneller Umgang mit Gastebeschwerden Neue Strategien in Bezug auf Gasteservice und Verkaufsmoglichkeiten einleiten Ubernahme von Projekten und weiteren administrativen Aufgaben

Als Restaurant Manager:in erwarten wir von Ihnen:

Eine abgeschlossene Berufsausbildung in der gehobenen Hotellerie oder Gastronomie und idealerweise 2-3 Jahre Berufserfahrungen in einer vergleichbaren Position Fuhrungsstark, Organisationstalent und die Fahigkeit ein Team von Mitarbeitenden verschiedenster Kulturkreise einfuhlsam und mit Disziplin zu fuhren Ausdrucksfahigkeit, Aufgeschlossenheit sowie Teamfahigkeit Kommunikative Fahigkeiten, schriftliche als auch mundliche - die Gaste werden sich sowohl mit Beschwerden als auch positivem Feedback an Sie wenden Hohes Qualitatsbewusstsein und ein Gespur fur Trends Gute EDV-Kenntnisse sowie Kenntnisse mit verschiedenen Kassensystemen Exzellente Umgangsformen und gepflegtes Ausseres sowie eine positive Ausstrahlung Flexibilitat und Belastbarkeit- zu Ihrer Position gehoren Wochenend- und Feiertagsschichten Sehr gute Deutsch- und Englischkenntnisse, weitere Fremdsprachenkenntnisse sind von Vorteil

About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental Palace, Luzern, within the Food & Beverage division, the Restaurant Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless service and an exceptional guest experience. This role involves leading and developing the service team, maintaining high standards, and achieving financial and quality targets. The Restaurant Manager reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.

As Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

Oversee all operational and administrative aspects of the outlet as appropriate and be able to prioritize the required level of engagement depending on business volumes and other related parameters. Enforce and monitor that all operational standards, as per our policies, SOP and quality measures are in place at all times. . Work closely with the respective Chef de Cuisine to plan menus, prices and promotional events for the outlet in order to maximize revenue generating opportunities in line with market demands. Provide leadership, direction and support to all colleagues at any time. Train, evaluate and schedule all colleagues in accordance with the applicable standards, policies and as per the overall business requirements. Observe all aspects of the business forecasts and plan effectively to make most efficient arrangements for manpower, equipment and supplies accordingly. Encourage proactive, efficient and effective inter-departmental communication within and beyond the F&B division in order to promote a climate of teamwork and enthusiasm.

As Restaurant Manager, we expect from you:

Completed vocational training in the upscale hotel or catering industry, ideally 2-3 years of professional experience in a similar position Leadership, organizational skills and the ability to lead a team of employees from different cultures with sensitivity and discipline Expressiveness, open-mindedness and team spirit Written and verbal communication skills - guests will come to you with both complaints and positive feedback High quality awareness and a sense for trends Good computer skills and knowledge of various cash register systems Excellent manners and well-groomed appearance, as well as a positive charisma Resilience and flexibility - your position will include night, weekend and holiday shifts Very good knowledge of German and English, additional foreign language skills are an advantage
