Job Description

We are seeking a Roaming Network Support Engineer to join our client's team on a permanent, hybrid basis in Bern. Our client is a leading global provider of mobile roaming and interconnect solutions, trusted by mobile network operators worldwide to deliver seamless connectivity and high-quality communication services.

Main Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to international mobile network operator customers using IPX and Roaming Hub services.

• Handle customer inquiries, perform troubleshooting, and deliver detailed service performance analyses and reports.

• Conduct service testing, validation, and comprehensive documentation of customer integrations.

• Monitor international network infrastructure, including SS7, Diameter, and GRX, as well as service systems such as STPs, DRAs, and the Roaming Hub.

• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation to ensure timely emergency support and service continuity.

Your Profile:

• Hands-on experience with SS7, Diameter, GTP, and DNS protocols, as well as roaming technologies.

• Technical education in telecommunications or related field, with a solid understanding of mobile network architecture.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment.

• A proactive, reliable, and resilient team player with a strong sense of responsibility and customer commitment.

• Willingness to participate in on-call support duty.
