Main tasks:

  • Serve as a go-to expert for SAP FICO, advising key users on process improvements and handling technical inquiries
  • Ensure all finance and procurement workflows within the ERP system run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with business standards
  • Design and update training content for Finance, Procurement, and Logistics teams; deliver sessions as needed
  • Establish and oversee project controlling frameworks, including cost tracking, variance analysis, and milestone reviews
  • Review and validate IT investment plans to confirm alignment with financial and strategic goals
  • Supervise accounting processes related to IT cost centers, ensuring accuracy in postings, accruals, and provisions
  • Take ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring full IFRS compliance
  • Coordinate budgeting and forecasting for IT departments and projects, supporting consistency across stakeholders
  • Deliver reliable and insightful financial reports, highlight key findings, and recommend actions when needed
  • Develop and maintain a strong ITGC framework, including standard operating procedures and internal guidance
  • Lead or support internal and external audits, ensuring all ITGC requirements are properly documented and followed
Your qualifications:
  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or similar; ideally supported by certification as accountant or controller
  • Several years of experience in a controlling role within an industrial and international environment
  • Strong communication skills in English; additional German skills are an advantage
  • Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, COGNOS, OneStream; strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint
  • High level of interest in IT finance systems and ability to take ownership of complex topics
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, paired with a structured and quality-focused mindset
  • Independent and proactive working style, comfortable navigating a dynamic, multicultural environment
