Job Description

We are seeking a skilled SCADA / HMI Developer (m/f/d) with expertise in COPA-DATA's Zenon software and a strong IT background. This role involves programming, development, and optimization of SCADA and HMI systems for production and automation processes.
Tasks

• Development, programming, and implementation of SCADA and HMI systems using COPA-DATA's Zenon software.
• Real-time visualization, control, and monitoring of production and automation processes.
• Optimization and further development of existing automation solutions to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Troubleshooting, analyzing system behavior, and implementing adjustments or new features as required.
• Collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate SCADA solutions into complex production environments.
• Focused research on historical data, system performance, and programming enhancements using Zenon.

Requirements

• Several years of professional experience in SCADA/HMI programming, with COPA-DATA's Zenon development environment.
• Solid IT background with experience in SCADA, HMI, and automation technologies.Proven experience in integrating industrial communication protocols like OPC UA, Modbus, or MQTT.
• Experience working in regulated industries, such as pharma/chemical production or similar production environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Experience in Zenon system design, development, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Previous roles with similar experience are highly valued.
