Lead research projects for the next generation solid-state batteries Methods development for physical and electrochemical characterization of battery materials Establish academic and industrial collaborations in projects focused on battery materials Publication of results in scientific journals and presentations at scientific meetings Assistance to the group head in preparation and execution of research projects Supervision of PhD students and postdocs Assistance to the lab management, equipment, and infrastructure planning

Your profile

We are looking for a self-motivated team player able to work independently with prior experience in electrochemistry and battery research The candidate must have a PhD degree in chemistry, physics, materials science or in a related field A good experience in battery materials analytical methods - operando techniques is an advantage Successful funding acquisition (personal fellowships, research grants, collaborative projects, etc.) Background in synchrotron-based analytical methods is a plus Good publication track record Excellent communication skills Very good command of English and basic knowledge of German is required
