Your role

As Securities Master Data Specialist at Bank J. Safra Sarasin you are responsible for the completeness and accuracy of securities master data as well as the securities pricing for the whole group. Based on these securities master data and asset valuations, all securities transactions and corresponding statements to our customers are dependent and are also used by numerous stakeholders of the bank for various purposes.

Your responsibilities

• Open and mutate securities master data
• Verify securities openings, securities prices and securities mutations within the framework of the 4-eyes principle
• Execute and control month-end processes
• Perform price and quality controls
• Monitor and process reports and checklists
• Adhere to directives and work instructions
• Handle special and complex requests/clarifications from customers and audit

Your profile

• Completed apprenticeship in the financial sector, preferably at a bank or comparable degree from a higher business school
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills as well as experience with Avaloq, SIX Financials and other data providers
• Basic knowledge in the area of security master data is an advantage
• Ability to weight problems and set priorities and strong analytical and problem solving skills
• Accurate, reliable and independent working method even under increased workload
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluency in German and English
