Senior Accountant (m/f/d)

Job Description

\\nMain Responsibilities:
  • Perform monthly, quarterly and yearly close activities for a subsidiary/-ies under Swiss GAAP
  • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information
  • Prepare statutory financial statements in accordance with local GAAP
  • Act as single point of contact for the operation and Managing Directors regarding financial topics
  • Manage vendor invoice processing and execution of payment runs
  • Handle cash management and prepare cash forecast for the entity
  • Execute PR/PO process and overview the project accounting
  • Book bank statements, process payroll entries and take care of accurate and regular reconciliation of accounts
  • Manage employee expense claims and handle business insurances
  • Support preparation of annual tax return and prepare independently the VAT returns
  • Manage and support local audits and support Group auditor requests
  • Improve and maintain an efficient internal control system for the entity and suggest process improvements
  • Fulfill ad hoc requests and other responsibilities as assigned
Requirements:
  • Bachelor\\\'s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5-7 years\\\' working experience in accounting
  • Thorough knowledge of general ledger accounting and account reconciliation
  • Proven experience with POC (percentage-of-completion) accounting a strong plus
  • Knowledge of Swiss GAAP, taxation and other regulatory requirements
  • Fluency in English is a must, German is a strong plus.
