Senior Application and Integration Engineer (80-100%)

Your Tasks

As a Senior Application and Integration Engineer with a proven commitment to technical excellence to represent the software engineering view in a team consisting of business requirements engineers and application managers, you are part of an exciting transformation journey. In this role you will collaborate closely with different technology teams as well as business stakeholders and you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Take technical ownership of the further development, maintenance, and operational support for multiple Cloud and on-premise enterprise applications, including document output and archival, customer relationship management, integration logic, and application monitoring systems
• Ensure application stability, ongoing fit-for-purpose, and user community needs fulfilment
• Manage and co-ordinate multiple external development partners and specialists
• Plan, execute and test system changes such as content deployments, patches, upgrades, and network changes
• Contribute to solution architecture design and provide senior technical and architecture oversight to new developments
• Provide technical documentation, training, and support

Your Profile

• University degree (or similar) in an IT/Data/Software Engineering related discipline
• 5+ years of relevant software engineering experience, preferably in finance industry
• 3+ years of experience in C#, PowerShell, and Windows systems
• 3+ years of experience in document output management systems
• Knowledge of MS SQL Server and data exchange formats such as JSON and XML
• Familiarity with Cloud Computing, Cloud Migration, and Azure Cloud
• Strong understanding of Web technologies and protocols such as HTTP, REST, and SOAP.
• Familiarity with DevOps, application monitoring solutions, and software quality assurance best practices
• Fluent in English, German is a plus
