Reporting to the Talent Acquisition Lead for Corporate Functions, the role will be responsible to partner with Corporate-, Business- and HR-leaders to provide technical expertise, solutions and Talent Acquisition support within the corporate ABB organization to attract the appropriate workforce to deliver the business strategy. The location of the role is flexible with a preference for a European time zone.

Your responsibilities
  • Taking end-to-end responsibility for Talent Acquisition and Recruitment for Corporate Functions at local as well as global level; building an understanding of the global markets for the different corporate functions and managing a highly efficient recruitment process with candidates and Hiring Managers across geographies
  • Managing recruitment campaigns, working directly with Hiring Managers to understand the job requirements, consult and advise on the most appropriate sourcing solution
  • Responsible for end to end recruitment process including offer negotiation
  • Understanding the corporate recruitment needs and priorities as well as building strong relationships and trust with senior leaders across the functions and businesses and their Global HR Business Partners; closely partner with the Head of HR for Corporate Functions
  • Actively supporting to execute on our global D&I initiatives
  • Actively advocating for internal Talent Advancement opportunities and contributing to activities as well as educating the organization where needed
  • Liaising with the internal executive search team or recruitment firms for specific positions as required and ensuring their capabilities for market mapping and recruitment support in the various geographic regions
  • Performing excellent stakeholder management with a wide range of stakeholders across geographies and levels
  • Ensuring compliance with local legislation and HR policies, GDPR and any other data privacy requirements, and adherence to compliance standards in all areas of responsibility
Your background
  • Higher education with at least 8+ years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 professional Recruitment / Talent Acquisition experience in a high performing global organization, international search firm or an RPO company, ideally having covered corporate functions
  • A minimum of 8 years\\xe2\\x80\\x99 experience with full lifecycle recruiting
  • Demonstrated success with various recruiting strategies and techniques, including use of digital and social media
  • Strategic mindset with a thorough understanding of business drivers and Talent Acquisition and Advancement trends
  • Strong end-to-end process thinking and experience of managing change projects
  • Proven experience in networking with and influencing senior Business/function leaders and HR leaders globally; exceptional intercultural communication skills, strong customer service orientation with proven consulting and influencing skills
  • Self-driven, resilient, energetic, enthusiastic and inclusive; creating or responding constructively to challenging new ideas and inputs
  • Brings a high degree of independent stakeholder management capabilities (internal & external)
  • Ability to think outside the box and always deliver pragmatic solutions to daily challenges faced by stakeholders. Can-do mentality
  • Fluent English language skills, both written and verbal, additional languages are an advantage
