Tasks

Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines and backend services for real-time decisioning, reporting, and data collection Define and model data requirements Manage and transform data across various systems Write high-quality, secure, and well-tested code Build and maintain software to enhance data governance and security Develop processes to ensure data security and data quality

Requirements

Completed education or degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent professional experience 5+ years of experience integrating data processing and workflow management tools into pipeline design Strong background in ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and business intelligence development Proficiency in Python, Scala, or similar programming languages. Advanced SQL skills for data analysis and issue resolution Experience with cloud data technologies (preferably Azure), Spark Streaming, Delta Tables, and Databricks Familiarity with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data Experience with various data storage systems (RDBMS, data lakes, in-memory caches, document databases) Knowledge of data modeling and microservices platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) Experience with event-driven streaming systems (Kafka, Event Hub, Event Grid) Familiarity with DBT, Data Vault (a plus), and BI tools. 1+ years of software development experience in JavaScript, Java, or C# Ability to provide technical leadership to other developers. Language skills: Fluent in English (mandatory), German (optional), both written and spoken
