\\n We\\xe2\\x80\\x99re working with a leading global private bank, with offices in Geneva, searching for a Senior Data Warehouse Engineer experienced in PL/SQL.

You are required for a core banking implementation project, to help change the data model on the data warehouse side. You will be working directly in a team of four in the data warehouse team and reporting to the Data Analytics Manager, with a wider project team of circa 50.

This is a 12 month contract for Swiss and EU residents based near Geneva, Switzerland. With the view of extension, or permanent onboarding past the initial 12 months if desired.

Main duties will include:

Data Warehouse Design: collaborating with stakeholders to understand data requirements and design efficient and scalable data warehouse solutions

ETL Development: develop, test, and deploy Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes to extract data form various sources, transform it into the desired format, and load it in to the data warehouse

Oracle PL/SQL Development: leverage your strong Oracle PL/SQL skills to create and optimize complex database queries, procedures, and functions to enhance data processing and data manipulation capabilities

Data Modelling: design and maintain data models to ensure data integrity, consistency, and performance in the data warehouse environment

Performance tuning: identify and address performance bottlenecks in the data warehouse, optimizing data retrieval and transformation processes for faster and more efficient data access

Data quality assurance: implement data quality checks and validations to ensure de accuracy and reliability of data stored in the data warehouse

Data security: ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations throughout the data warehousing lifecycle

Documentation: create and maintain comprehensive documentation related to data warehouse design, ETL processes, and data models for easy reference and knowledge transfer
