Digital Riot, based in Chiasso (Switzerland), is a fast-growing company operating internationally in over 21 countries and across 6 different time zones. To strengthen our technical team, we are seeking a DevOps Engineer who will support us in implementing and optimizing our infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and automation processes in a dynamic, innovation-driven environment.
Tasks

• Design and manage CI/CD pipelines: implement and maintain continuous integration and delivery systems to ensure quick, reliable releases.
• Infrastructure monitoring and management: ensure stability, scalability, and security of production environments (cloud, on-premises, or hybrid).
• Process automation: develop and integrate scripts and tools to automate repetitive tasks, optimizing time and resources.
• Containerization and orchestration: implement solutions based on Docker/Kubernetes or similar technologies to streamline application portability.
• Collaboration with development teams: work closely with developers, QA, and other stakeholders to rapidly resolve issues and improve system performance.
• Security and compliance: protect data and uphold security standards, monitor vulnerabilities, and implement DevSecOps best practices.
• Troubleshooting and continuous improvement: respond promptly to incidents, identify root causes, and propose long-term solutions.

Requirements
Experience:
At least 3 years in DevOps, System Engineering, or similar roles.
Technical Skills:

• Experience in high-traffic environments - Proficiency in designing, optimizing, and maintaining scalable infrastructures that can efficiently handle millions of requests daily.
• Containerization and orchestration - Advanced knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (GKE, EKS, OpenShift, or others).
• Automation and IaC - Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for infrastructure management and provisioning.
• Cloud computing - Experience with AWS, focusing on scalability, load balancing, and cost management.
• Advanced monitoring and logging - Proficiency with tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Datadog, and New Relic for performance monitoring and log analysis.
• CI/CD and software lifecycle management - Experience with GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, ArgoCD, or Spinnaker.
• Networking and security - Knowledge of network protocols, VPNs, firewalls, TLS management, WAF, and cloud security best practices.
• Database and storage - Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Elasticsearch, or other distributed databases.
• Microservices and event-driven architectures - Hands-on experience with Kafka, RabbitMQ, NATS.
• Programming for scripting and automation - Proficiency in Bash, Python, Go, or similar languages. Familiarity with Golang is an advantage.
• Experience with Edge Computing or CDNs (Cloudflare, Bunny).

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of Linux internals and system performance optimization.
• Familiarity with serverless technologies (AWS Lambda, Google Cloud Functions).

Soft Skills:

• Teamwork-oriented approach and effective communication with different departments.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Curiosity, initiative, and a desire to explore new technologies.

Language:
Excellent command of written and spoken English to interact with an international team.
