We're looking for a seasoned DevSecOps Engineer who can take a broad, strategic view of a growing IT landscape. In this role, you'll be instrumental in refining development workflows, enhancing automation, and supporting teams with robust tools and processes.
What You'll Do
- Develop and improve shell scripts to make CI/CD pipelines more efficient.
- Support application rollouts by reviewing and writing OpenShift deployment scripts.
- Manage and maintain key development tools such as build systems, IDEs, and container platforms.
- Work closely with developers throughout the software lifecycle, ensuring best practices are followed and documentation is up to date.
- Configure and fine-tune systems like logging frameworks, ETL processes, API platforms, and NoSQL databases.
- Evaluate and optimize application performance and resource usage.
- Perform deep-dive investigations to identify and resolve root causes of technical issues.
What You Bring
- A degree from a university or technical college in IT, or equivalent vocational training.
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in a DevSecOps role.
- Solid experience with CI/CD tools (ideally Azure DevOps), Kubernetes (preferably OpenShift), containerization, and shell scripting.
- Background in software development (ideally with .NET) and familiarity with technologies such as Elasticsearch, MongoDB, Redis, Kafka, or any API management solution.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to assess systems from a broad perspective.
- A proactive, hands-on approach to problem-solving.
- Fluent English communication skills.
