Financial Operations Leadership:
- Lead the coordination of accounting processes for European entities.
- Ensure precise GL management and completeness.
- Spearhead the monthly financial closure, encompassing journal entries and reconciliations.
- Create and oversee the quarterly closing calendar and a collaborative checklist.
- Execute intricate SAP transactions during the closing period.
- Safeguard accurate SAP payroll data entry.
- Scrutinise and interpret financial records, offering valuable insights.
- Supervise the reconciliation between US GAAP and Local GAAP.
- Provide guidance on optimizing accounting procedures.
- Coordinate the preparation of tax declarations.
- Lead in preparing statutory accounts for European entities.
- Act as the main point of contact for auditors.
- Proven expertise in US GAAP, local GAAP, and SAP (S/4 Hana preferred).
- ACCA, CPA or similar qualification desired.
- Exceptional financial acumen with a knack for problem-solving.
- Strong communication skills for cross-border collaboration.
- Cultural sensitivity for effective teamwork with global colleagues.
- Previous experience in accounting leadership roles.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic, non-structured environment.
- Familiarity with Procure to Pay (P2P) cycles.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Knowledge of SOX controls.
- Treasury and banking experience is a plus.
