Project

: For our client in the telecommunications industry, we are seeking an experienced ICT System Engineer specializing in Public Key Infrastructure (PKI). This role supports projects and operations related to security architectures and certificate management. The objectives include building, developing, and operating a stable, secure, and compliant PKI infrastructure, including automation, integration into enterprise environments, and supporting internal teams.

Tasks and responsibilities

:

Design, implementation, and management of the PKI infrastructure with CAs, RAs, and related services. Operation and management of certificates for internal and external applications, devices and users Development and implementation of security guidelines, processes and best practices for PKI Monitoring, error analysis, and troubleshooting of PKI-related issues (renewals, revocations, etc.) Integration of PKI services into enterprise applications, networks and security solutions (VPN, SSL/TLS, email signatures) Implementation and management of Hardware Security Modules (HSMs) Collaboration with security, network, and application teams Development of automation solutions to optimize certificate management (PowerShell, Python) Creation and updating of technical documentation, guidelines and operating manuals Training and support for internal teams on PKI topics

Technical

:

Completed studies in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity or a comparable field Several years of experience in implementing and operating PKI solutions in enterprise environments In-depth knowledge of encryption, certificate services (SSL/TLS), digital signatures and key management Experience with PKI software such as Microsoft CA, OpenSSL, EJBCA, Venafi and HSMs Experience in automation using PowerShell, Python, or similar scripting languages Solid understanding of network security architectures and protocols (LDAP, SCEP, OCSP) Good problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Safe creation of technical documentation Strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical topics in an understandable way.

PSP testing required Candidates must be residents of Switzerland (at least a C permit). Residence in Switzerland for at least 5 years
