At Tamedia, a leading Swiss private media group, our team develops the native applications that 100.000+ monthly readers get their news from. Tages-Anzeiger and Basler Zeitung are examples of the major news brands that live under Tamedia's umbrella. We are looking for a talented Senior iOS Engineer to join our team in Zurich (hybrid). What you can expect
Collaborate closely with our News Frontend team in Zurich and Belgrade, Product Owner, and CMS team. Be more than a code implementer: actively shape product direction by identifying opportunities to improve the reader experience. Contribute to a team that analyzes, develops, and continuously learns from new technologies and requirements. Work with MVVM architecture, clean code principles, and reactive programming concepts. Keep optimizing our CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions and Xcode Cloud. Mentor other engineers and value constructive feedback on your ideas. We are looking for
At least five years of proven experience in iOS app development and a strong track record of shipping high-quality apps to the App Store. You should be fluent in Swift and comfortable working with UIKit, SwiftUI, Combine and Objective-C. You understand common mobile architecture patterns and know how to design maintainable and scalable codebases. You are open to working on a hybrid app (using WebViews with native features). A doer's mindset: you are not afraid to jump into web or Android whenever the team needs it. You are an excellent communicator who enjoys working with different teams. You are curious about the latest developments in iOS and WatchOS. Fluent English to work with our teammates in Zurich and Belgrade. Valid work permit for Switzerland
