\\n On behalf of our client, a global trading company, Swisslinx is currently looking for Senior Java/C++ Software Engineer ((m/f/d).
This is a permanent role.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be part of the engineering team supporting the Trading Desks
- Work location: London (UK) or Central Switzerland.
- Workload: 100%.
Thei is a 100% onsite role.
Your role:
Together with the team, you will create application systems for the trading desks. In particular, these are systems that map trading algorithms, price calculations or trade monitoring functions.
These application systems require interfaces to trading, market data and master data systems.
Your work will take place in close coordination with the in-house trading departments.
The programming support of functional tests and load tests plays a special role in your area of responsibility.
Your profile:
- B.S. / M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline with 4 - 6 years of experience
- Experience in a commodities/financial trading environment
- Strong understanding of software engineering and system design
- Proficient in the programming languages Java or C++ and the corresponding basic tool sets (build tools, IDEs, test frameworks).
- Experience in Microsoft Azure
- Experience of working in/with an Agile Development Team
- Good commutation skills, able to delivery
