The Senior Logistics Team Lead BioAtrium (f/d/m) 80-100% BioAtrium is responsible for supervising the entire Logistics and Waste operations of our Biologics production facility. The Senior Logistics Team Lead BioAtrium (f/d/m) 80-100% BioAtrium will ensure efficient movement and storage of raw materials, finished goods, equipment, and other supplies, while adhering to industry-leading standards of safety, quality, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the leadership, development and mentor of Team Members within dedicated Logistics Area.
• Responsible for all processes within the dedicated area. Ensures that all processes are carried out in accordance with current regulatory requirements (GMP /GDP , safety, etc.)
• Acquiring a detailed understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Expanding the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
• Ensures that processes are standardized as far as possible and continuously optimized
• Ensures communication, exchange and support with other plant logistics areas
• Ensures that BioAtrium Logistics is represented in associated projects
• Implements the LONZA culture via willingness for change and new insights , coordinated teamwork and continuous improvement even outside their own area of responsibility. Implements a vision as a service provider in their organization

Key Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor`s / graduate degree in Logistics Management, Supply Chain or equivalent is required
• Further qualification / post-graduate in Warehousing, Logistics , Supply Chain or Operations would be strongly preferred

minimum requirement of 5 year relevant GMP-experience
need to provide evidence, to close a CAPA
Training in Lean, Process Excellence, Six Sigma etc. is preferred * Proven record in operations leadership within a multinational organization

• Sophisticated years of experience in leading Logistics / Production Supply or Supply Chain position in Biopharma
• Strong people leadership and communication skills
• The capability to support, develop, and implement strategic plans for logistics and supply chain management that align with the organization's overall goals and objectives
• Analytical and problem-solving skills to assess sophisticated logistical challenges and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with internal departments, external customers, and team members.
• Knowledge of local and international regulations governing GMP/GDP, transportation and logistics , and the ability to ensure compliance with these regulations
• Proven track record to manage logistics budoptimallyively and find opportunities for cost savings without compromising operational efficiency.
• A dedication to continuous improvement, with a focus on optimizing logistics processes, reducing lead times, and improving overall efficiency.
