Why Now
This is an exciting time to be at Hyatt. We are growing rapidly and are looking for passionate changemakers to be a part of our journey. The hospitality industry is resilient and continues to offer dynamic opportunities for upward mobility, and Hyatt is no exception.
Your Role
In this role, you're the central commercial connector -- the person who keeps dozens of hotels and a wide mix of commercial, corporate, and brand partners moving in the same direction. You operate at the crossroads of competing priorities, translating, aligning, nudging, and when needed, diplomatically pushing things forward so nothing gets dropped. You'll juggle multiple openings and conversions at the same time, spot issues before they become problems, drive for success and keep momentum high even when the pace is relentless.
Most of your impact happens behind the scenes, working hand in hand with peers across Commercial Services, but it's absolutely critical. When everything runs smoothly, it's because you made it happen. When things get bumpy, you're the steady force bringing clarity back to the process. The sharper and more precise you are, the more freedom your colleagues have to do their best work. You clear the path, manage the noise, and keep partners aligned so teams can stay focused on what truly matters - commercial success.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and stay focused, and effective under high-stake situations when timelines tighten and priorities shift. You're comfortable managing high volume and ambiguity, making smart calls under pressure while keeping deadlines and stakeholders on track.
When a hotel launches strong and confident, it's because relationships were managed thoughtfully, timelines were respected, communication was transparent, and people knew they could rely on you. You become the trusted point of connection -- the person commercial teams depend on to be their eyes and ears in moments that really matter.
Your Responsibilities
Lead commercial project management for hotel openings, conversions, integrations, operator transitions, and deflaggings, ensuring timely activation and alignment with Operations, Finance, HR, IT, and Brand milestones.
Serve as the primary commercial coordination point of contact for assigned projects, representing Hyatt's O&C and Commercial agenda while maintaining a unified, cross-functional opening narrative.
Coordinate closely with O&C Operations and key stakeholders to sequence deliverables in support of the commercial critical path and overall opening timeline.
Manage and monitor detailed commercial project plans, milestones, readiness status and accountabilities, integrating critical inputs into concise documentation, trackers and dashboards for leadership visibility.
Partner with the Ramp Team to align ramp strategy and early commercial performance, monitoring key KPIs.
Guide hotel commercial teams in the adoption of Hyatt's commercial tools, systems, and onboarding resources.
Lead commercial coordination for deflaggings and operator transitions, managing commercial system and data off-/on-boarding.
Drive continuous improvement across commercial opening and transition processes by identifying performance gaps and enhancing toolkits, SOPs, training content, and playbooks.
