In this role, you will be a key player in leading and executing our global indirect tax agenda across multiple jurisdictions and partnering with diverse internal and external stakeholders. In this high-impact role, you will oversee indirect tax matters, mainly related to value-added tax, to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and improve standards and procedures while enabling efficient, business-oriented solutions.
As one of our indirect tax experts, you will not only work on day-to-day business tasks but will also act as a critical partner in strategic cross-functional projects. You will have the opportunity to participate in the further development of our team as the global competence center for indirect taxes within the Hilti Group.
You will utilize SAP Tax Compliance to build scalable controls, simplify processes, and drive measurable indirect tax excellence across individual jurisdictions, regions and functions. In a fast paced international environment, this role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to drive operational excellence within our multinational organization.
This position (80% -100%) does not require any frequent business travel.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
As one of Hilti's Senior Manager Indirect Tax at our global headquarters, you will facilitate the co-operation between headquarters and other global stakeholders, locally operating Hilti entities, regional Finance Shared Service Centers, and external tax advisors to deliver high-quality solutions that meet compliance requirements and consider business realities.
As global process owner, you will be responsible for the further development and expanded use of SAP Tax Compliance and the related investigation and remediation activities, the establishment of a global SAP Tax Compliance community of practice within Hilti, and the management of indirect tax-related Internal Control System activities.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING
Higher education in international tax or finance / accounting
Strong indirect tax technical skills across national and international supplies of goods and services inside and outside the EU single market
Several years of hands-on experience and a proven track record in indirect tax gained in consulting and/or industry
Ability to analyze complex fact bases and develop practicable solutions through a high level of creativity and persistence
Fluency in English (additional language skills, particularly in German, is a plus)
