Medical & Marketing, International Operations - Strategic Operations (M&M, IO-SO)
Zurich, Switzerland or Copenhagen, Denmark
Ready to turn one of the biggest industry challenges into a strategic advantage? As Senior Manager, Loss of Exclusivity Marketing, you'll be at the forefront of redefining brand value beyond the patent cliff -- steering high-impact strategies, uncovering new growth paths, and safeguarding market leadership. This is a rare opportunity to shape the next chapter of major brands while influencing decisions at the highest levels.
Your new role
As Senior Manager, Loss of Exclusivity Marketing you will play a pivotal role in shaping post-exclusivity strategies and maximising the value of our portfolio as products transition beyond their patent lifecycle. Acting as a strategic connector between commercial, medical, regulatory, and regional teams, you will anticipate market shifts, guide brand evolution, and ensure that our marketing approach remains competitive, compliant, and impactful in an increasingly complex landscape. This role offers high visibility and influence across the organisation, driving initiatives that protect brand equity and uncover new growth opportunities.
Main responsibilities will include:
Conduct comprehensive market analyses to anticipate post-LoE trends, competitive dynamics, and growth opportunities
Oversee second brand management and optimise post-LoE marketing campaigns to sustain product value and market share
Drive cross-functional collaboration and manage stakeholder communication to ensure strategic alignment on LoE initiatives
Lead internal readiness efforts, including training, capability building, and best practice sharing across regions and affiliates
Provide actionable LoE insights to inform broader brand strategies and lifecycle planning.
Support the development and maintenance of compliant messaging and promotional standards, including claims libraries and partner guidance
Monitor campaign performance, assess ROI, and adapt strategies to evolving market conditions and regulatory landscapes
This role provides the opportunity to make a significant impact on how we approach one of the most critical phases of a product's lifecycle. While it does not include direct people management responsibilities, it offers substantial scope for strategic leadership and career growth within a global commercial environment.
This is an office-based position, to be located either in Copenhagen or Zurich. The final location will be confirmed during the recruitment process, taking both business needs and candidate fit into account.
