Step into a role shaping a strategic, proactive quantitative backbone for Trading & Origination. Work at the intersection of modelling, fundamentals and trading, clarify complex exposures, speed up decisions across power, gas, carbon and renewables, and optimise processes for a competitive setup.
Your field
You analyze daily positions and P&L, explain variances, and ensure a reliable analytical foundation
You monitor and interpret risk exposures such as sensitivities, Greeks, VaR, and stress scenarios with strong quantitative depth
You build and maintain reports and dashboards that clearly explain P&L attribution, risk metrics, and KPIs across all desks in Trading & Origination
In close collaboration with modelling and fundamental market analysis teams, you align assumptions and analytical structures
You design, extend, and automate tools and analytical frameworks in Python or similar languages
Your strengths
A Master's degree in a quantitative field and experience in an energy or derivatives-related trading environment
2-3 years in risk modelling, control or analytics, allowing you to navigate complex trading flows confidently
Strong programming skills in Python or similar to analyze data and implement analytical solutions
Solid understanding of linear and non-linear trading instruments and their key risk drivers
Ability to communicate quantitative insights clearly and efficiently to a wide range of stakeholders, i.e. traders, originators, risk controllers, strategists and top management
Fluency in English; German or French is an advantage
