The (Senior) SAP Application Manager MM ("Purchase-to-Pay") works closely with relevant business stakeholders (especially the Logistics environment like Procurement, Supply Chain & Production) to define, document, and optimize business processes and software requirements in the area of Material Management (SAP MM).

In this role the IT Application Manager is responsible for supporting, coordinating and solving issues, changes, and projects within the logistics environment, as well as interfacing areas connected to the SAP ERP system.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Analyze requirements and define solutions within the area of responsibility (SAP P2P Stream) Understand the business issues, needs, and challenges Suggest areas of improvement & recommend technical solutions Lead projects and initiatives in the area of MM (Logistics) Review and edit, specifications, business processes, and recommendations related to the proposed solution Develop functional specifications and system design specifications Cooperate with consultants from other SAP ERP modules/streams, such as SD (O2C), PP (D2O) and FICO (R2R) Take ownership for the 2nd and 3rd level for all types of IT related issues (Incidents, Service Requests & Changes) within the area of responsibility Contribute to driving Digitalization efforts within Teleflex Group Align Local Business Unit (VI) Interests with long-term CORP plans & strategy of the Teleflex Group. (i.e., Ensuring seamless integration of VI into the Teleflex system IT/SAP landscape)

Your Profile

Very good understanding of SAP MM and related SAP modules like PP, SD or FI. Hands-on Project based Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus. College/University Degree in Business Economics, Applied Computer Science, Information Technology or similar. More than five years of experience in the area of SAP MM or related Logistics modules Professional experience in projects and rollouts Excellent language skills in English. C-Level German is a plus
