Join Swiss Re and its Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) team as a (Senior) Strategy and Transformation Manager and play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction and outlining the transformation journey. Your key responsibilities include:
Define and align the GFO&T strategy
Define the GFO&T strategic roadmap in alignment with the broader Swiss Re Finance organisation. Collaborate with GFO&T leadership to align and execute on our strategic vision. This includes preparing and facilitating offsites and workshops with the GFO&T leadership team
Take an active role in transforming GFO&T
In close collaboration with Swiss Re Group and Swiss Re Group Finance, define and execute on the divisional transformation journey
Monitor and drive the divisional budget and performance management
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track GFO&T operations and the progress of strategic initiatives. Support the divisional management in budget and cost controlling
Deliver high-quality senior stakeholder reporting
Deliver high-quality presentations and reports to senior stakeholders, including Finance Leadership Team. Executive Committee, Audit Committee and Board of the Group. Create, coordinate, and align storyline and content ensuring clear, concise and effective communication
About the Team
Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the division responsible for accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for global Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Global as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re's legal entities, including SST and Solvency 2. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Global Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective, forward-looking organisation. The GFO&T Strategy & Transformation Office is in charge of defining and aligning the GFO&T strategy in close alignment with the leadership team and driving the Finance transformation on the divisional level, while delivering high-quality senior stakeholder reporting and managing the divisional budget.
About You
You are a motivated, collaborative and entrepreneurially minded individual with a strong interest in Corporate Strategy and Finance Transformation as well as a desire to work in a fast-paced environment. You possess excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Minimum 4-6 years of professional experience in a related field, such as strategy consulting, management consulting and/or strategy/ transformation role within a leading Financial Services player
A strong academic background, preferably in Strategy, Business Administration, or Finance
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
End-to-end experience from strategy definition to implementation, ideally with a focus on Finance organisations
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including experience with senior management communication, particularly the preparation of board and executive committee documents
High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently and navigate in multi-faceted stakeholder settings
Experience in (re)insurance and Finance organisations preferred

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 126,000 and 188,000 CHF (for a full-time role). The specific salary offered considers:
