About Us



We're a team of over 30 volunteers working across multiple disciplines, from linguistics to design, from business development and marketing to product development. We are open and respectful, working remotely and asynchronously. Accountability is key for us, and so is teamwork.

About the Role



We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Architect with deep expertise in Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS to lead architectural decisions and contribute hands-on to the codebase. You'll be responsible for designing a scalable, high-performing technical foundation for our platform and actively building key parts of it.

Required Skills and Experience:



Expert-level proficiency in Next.js, React, and Tailwind CSS Proven experience in hands-on coding within architect-level roles Deep understanding of component design, state management, and rendering strategies Experience with Git, automated deployment, and modern CI/CD tools Comfortable working in a remote environment with flat hierarchy, balancing speed with technical quality Excellent communication and documentation skills

Responsibilities:



Define and evolve the technical architecture for Komunikon's platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability Lead hands-on development alongside the team, especially for core features and complex components Collaborate with product managers, designers, and developers to translate business needs into technical solutions Guide and enforce code standards, component structure, and best practices Review code and mentor junior developers through pull requests and one-on-one feedback Work on DevOps-related tasks such as deployment workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and version control Ensure the platform is built with modularity and future extensibility in mind Troubleshoot and resolve critical technical issues with efficiency and clarity
