Your role:
As Senior VMware System Engineer you are responsible for the operation and engineering of on premise ESXi infrastructure (including HW - servers and storage) and provide efficient and stable operations.

Your responsibilities:
- Responsible for the operation, maintenance and expansion of ESXi systems as well as their basic infrastructure (storage, hardware)
- Ensure proper life cycle management of the managed services
- Participate in the conception and implementation of projects as well as further development and optimization of the existing infrastructure
- Providing second level support within the existing support organization and responsibilities
- Support of the on-call organization as a memberYour profile
- University degree in Computer Science or equivalent education
- 5+ years of practical experience in the field of ESXi administration in large enterprises
- Basic knowledge in the area of Linux (RHEL) is required
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Hands-on mentality
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
