We are looking for an experienced LDC Solution Design Manager - Logistics Own Warehouse (EWM) Lead (m/f/d) to take ownership of solution design, delivery, and leadership for the Logistics Own Warehouse team within the Lean Digital Core (LDC) program. In this role, you will act both as a team lead and hands-on SAP EWM consultant, ensuring that solution designs meet business requirements and are delivered according to project timelines.
Responsibilities

• Lead the Logistics Own Warehouse team and ensure successful delivery of SAP EWM-related tasks and solutions.

• Verify the existing core model for own warehouse based on SAP EWM together with the Global Business Process Owner for Logistics and prepare proposals for improvement.

• Prepare the EWM roadmap for upcoming releases in alignment with core processes and solutions.

• Support the development of logistics process designs outside of EWM where needed.

• Contribute to all project phases including conceptual design, build, UAT testing, training, cutover, and hypercare.

• Follow up on cross-functional topics such as staging with manufacturing, proposing aligned solutions together with global process owners.

• Moderate workshops with business stakeholders to refine and challenge requirements.

• Represent the Logistics Own Warehouse team in discussions with higher management to provide updates, obtain guidance, and drive decisions.

• Project Period:2025-11-01 to 2026-09-30 with a possibility of further extension

• Work type: Remote - 90%, 10% onsite - only required for certain project phases in the manufacturing sites e.g. integrated screening, User accepting testing, go live.

Profile

• Several years of experience in SAP implementation projects and SAP EWM deployments, ideally in a business team lead role.

• Proven experience in designing and implementing own warehouse setups and validating solutions against business needs.

• Understanding of integration with manufacturing execution systems (MES) and related processes.

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to deliver results within tight timelines.

• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the capability to guide, advise, and motivate team members.

• Fast self-learner, forward-thinking, and proactive problem solver.

• High degree of teamwork, quality orientation, and structured working style.

• Flexibility to perform in a fast-paced, dynamic, and global matrix environment.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to engage effectively with senior management.
