Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is working with an established shipbroker with long standing success within the Sale & Purchase sector across both Dry and Tanker sectors. With the market continuing to grow within Europe and Asia the company is seeking and experienced S&P broker to join their experienced team within the Swiss office.
Responsibilities:

• Build and Maintain relations with Ship owners, ship builders and international Companies within the Dry, Cargo and Tanker sectors.
• Responsible for negotiating and handling contracting of New building of Ore carriers (VLOC), Product Tankers and VLCC's.
• Promote the company's activities to international clients within the shipping industry focusing Newbuilding and Demolition.
• Understand and provide accurate data on the key markets for Newbuilds and demolition within European and Asian Shipping Markets.
• Experienced in managing and closing high value deals within the International shipping through long Term charter deals with purchase offers.

Experience:

• 4-10 years' experience Shipbroking within an International brokerage either Dry or Tanker markets.
• Previous experience building a profitable portfolio of business within the Sale and Purchase or Projects Sector of a Shipbrokers.
• Be able to promote and manage the company's offerings of long term charter deals, Purchase offers and demolition rates.
• Travel required to meet with International clients looking to bring business across Europe and Japan.
• Fluent in English (Another Language is desirable)
