The Reliability Engineering unit supports the production facilities at the Kaiseraugst site in the area of ??Asset Lifecycle Management. The primary focus is on ensuring the availability, reliability, and financing of existing and new production facilities. To meet today's requirements of commercial production in a GMP environment, reliability and continuous improvement of current standards are essential. Therefore, in addition to in-depth technical knowledge, the willingness to continuously develop, reflect on, and adapt one's own actions are among the basic competencies of every Spare Parts Life Cycle Manager.
The ideal candidate
will have completed technical training and at least five years of professional experience in maintenance, preferably in a pharmaceutical company. SAP and excellent German language skills are also required.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
Responsibility for the management of the decentralized spare parts warehouse in Kaiseraugst (PT) with SAP-managed spare parts
Inventory optimization, strategic spare parts management (including successor testing and technical comparison), and evaluation of spare parts for new systems
Recording and analysis of end-of-life (EoL) information for spare parts as well as the development and management of measures to ensure system availability
Coordination/strategy for EoL management with the plant operator & Site Engineering
Proactively reports the need when a like-for-like exchange of spare parts is no longer possible and major adjustments to the system are necessary
Quality inspection of incoming goods including certificates and inventory
Acceptance of new spare parts including allocation to technical locations
Coordination of spare parts repairs
Handling used spare parts (procurement, professional disposal)
Consulting and service for spare parts logistics for customer organizations
Initiation of change processes for component replacement due to EoL
Must Haves:
Completed vocational training, preferably as an automation technician, mechatronics technician, or electrician.
Technical understanding of mechanical and electrical spare parts for pharmaceutical production plants, ideally with experience in handling their components.
Competence in obsolescence management as well as in the identification and classification of critical spare parts.
Ability to identify obsolete or foreseeably no longer manufacturer-supported spare parts at an early stage.
Independently drive process improvements and a high degree of personal responsibility.
Knowledge of SAP (PM and MM modules), ideally supplemented by experience with SAP eWM and S/4HANA.
Confident use of Excel and Google Sheets, including the application of functions and data visualization.
Strong analytical skills and networked thinking when preparing and interpreting complex data sets
. Very good written and spoken German skills, knowledge of English is an advantage.
High ability to work in a self-organized and self-motivated manner.
Team player.
Nice to Haves: Experience in a GMP environment.
