For our client, a large pharmaceutical company based in Basel, we are looking for

a Specialist Technical Building Operation in the Production department (m/f/d).

Background:

Background: The "Operate Buildings" division is responsible for ensuring energy and utility supplies, building operation, and maintenance services at the Basel and Kaiseraugst locations. The Technical Building Operations team ensures the reliable, regulatory-compliant, and cost-effective operation of building services. We are seeking a Technical Building Operator in the "Production and Infrastructure Buildings" division for the Kaiseraugst location.

As a Technical Building Operator you will:

Ensure the availability of technical building equipment, GMP and regulatory compliance, and economical plant operation throughout the entire service life of the buildings Be able to assume responsibility for technical building and plant inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, continuous plant optimization (energy, costs) and external company support and their timely documentation (including GMP) Provide on-call service and participate in various exciting projects Use your expertise to make a difference and leverage expertise from other areas through cooperation Ensure the exchange of information between departments and participate proactively and independently in self-organized teams
The ideal candidate will have completed technical training in building services engineering and more than three years of experience in the field, including in the maintenance of technical building equipment. They will also have basic knowledge of IT applications and fluent German.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

Ensuring the availability of technical building equipment, regulatory compliance and economical plant operation throughout the entire service life of the buildings Responsibility for technical building and facility inspections, troubleshooting, maintenance, and continuous facility optimization (energy, costs) Responsibility for external company support and GMP-compliant documentation Provide on-call service and participate in various exciting projects Use expertise to bring about change and use expertise from other areas through cooperation Ensure information exchange within the specialist departments and participate proactively and independently in self-organised teams

Must Haves:

Completed technical vocational training in the field of building technology (e.g. automation technician, ventilation fitter), ideally a maintenance specialist Min. 3 years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical building equipment Basic knowledge of IT applications (Office, SAP, etc.) Fluent written and spoken German Independence and proactive working style Team orientation and willingness to cooperate Problem-solving skills and decisiveness High willingness to take responsibility

Further training as an IH specialist Several years of professional experience in the operation and maintenance of technical
