Summary



We are seeking an experienced professional to lead and coordinate technology transfer activities at the site level, including any scale up or other process adaptations. This role serves as the single point of contact (SPOC) for technical transfers, ensuring seamless collaboration across cross-functional teams (e.g. Technical Development, Supply Chain, Production unit, Quality Control, Health Saety & Environment (HSE), other sites and compliance with GMP standards. The successful candidate will drive project execution, support launch readiness, and contribute to process optimization and validation efforts.

About the Role



Major Accountabilities:



Lead site-level technology transfer projects, including scale-up and process adaptation. Act as SPOC for technical transfer, coordinating with global and local stakeholders. Conduct feasibility assessments and define scope/design of technical batches. Develop and manage site project plans, resource needs, and cost estimates. Initiate and close local change controls; ensure documentation is up to date. Prepare and review technical documentation, including transfer protocols and reports. Support regulatory submissions and inspection readiness (e.g., PAI). Contribute to validation strategy and execution (process, cleaning, packaging). Drive process improvement and optimization for transferred products. Ensure knowledge transfer from sending to receiving site, including operator training.

Requirements:



Minimum 8 years of experience in drug substance manufacturing, with project management expertise. Experience in oligonucleotide and/or peptide production is preferred. MSc in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field. Strong understanding of GMP, HSE, and regulatory requirements. Excellent communication and leadership skills in cross-functional environments. Fluent in English and proficient in German.
