About the Role




We are seeking for a motivated individual to support the production and the validation of the SST results for both the Group and the Local entities. This includes the production of the group cashflows used by Treasury and Risk Management and a detailed comparison of the SST with the IFRS balance sheet. You will contribute to the success of these key processes within the Finance department and interact with the delegated authorities.


Key responsibilies include:

Support the quarterly closing process by controlling L&H cash flow production, production of SST technical balance sheet and income statement for Swiss-domiciled legal entities and the Group. Substantiate and validate the calculations and the results. Perform consistency checks and additional data review tasks and identify/act on potential findings. Analyze and resolve errors. Support the explanations of differences between the SST and IFRS balance sheet. Prepare and document adjustments to ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial results. Participate in change requests to implement new requirements or improve systems and data quality, including requirements definition and testing.

About the Team




Global Finance Operations & Transformation (GFO&T) is the unit responsible for the accounting and reporting of accurate and consistent financial information for Swiss Re for external reporting and internal analysis facilitating strategic decision-making. This includes IFRS for Group as well as statutory financial information for all Swiss Re legal entities, including SST and Solvency II. GFO&T spearheads the transformation of Global Finance, streamlining it towards a simpler, more effective forward-looking organization.

About You




You're an analytical thinker with a passion for financial accuracy and a talent for interpreting complex data. You demonstrate strong personal accountability and are competent to work a flexible schedule and deliver under time pressure. You possess the ability to perform tasks with a minimum support and some degree of autonomy, but also collaborate with all partners to deliver on clearly attributed goals and objectives.


Your profile:

University degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Mathematics, Physics, Actuarial, Statistics, Economics, Finance) Accounting knowledge (ideally on IFRS and SST) Committed, proactive and dedicated personality Ability to work accurately and deliver within timelines Strong communication skills and the ability to connect with teams across departments Team player with eagerness to contribute actively to the overall team spirit Excellent oral and written English skills

These are additional nice to haves:

Experience in similar positions within Finance or Risk Management Actuarial knowledge or pursuing an actuarial qualification

For Switzerland, the base salary range for this position is between 77,000 CHF and 115,000 CHF for a full-time role.

the requirements, scope, complexity and responsibilities of the role the applicant's own profile including education/qualifications, expertise, specialisation, skills and experience

In the situation where you do not meet all the requirements or you significantly exceed these, the offered salary may be below or above the advertised range. In addition to your base salary, you may be eligible for additional rewards and benefits including an attractive performance-based annual bonus.

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.
