Combining expertise in data evaluation and (further) development of methods in the field of biodiversity monitoring at Agroscope
Writing peer-reviewed and practice-oriented publications, and presenting research findings to different target groups (scientists, practitioners and the public) at an international and national level
Supervising students (Bachelor's and Master's), PhD students and PostDocs
This makes you unique

PhD in Landscape Ecology, Environmental Sciences or a related field
Proven ability to process, evaluate and manage large, heterogeneous data sets (e.g. structured monitoring data, casual observations and Citizen Science data).
Sound skills in performing biodiversity assessments and developing land-use scenarios.
Experience in acquiring research funds and managing research projects
A team player with a strong commitment, excellent communication skills, and a passion for evaluating data, developing methods, and publishing in the context of agroecology and landscape ecology.
Knowledge of two official Swiss languages and English
