Job Description

Imperium Commodity Search is alongside a global Steel Trading company covering physical trading and distribution of Steel and Raw material. Our client is looking for a senior individual to join their team in Switzerland.
We're reaching out to senior Steel Traders with an existing network of transferrable business looking for a new opportunity with an international leader in the field.
Responsibilities:

• Back-to-back trading of Steel products across MENA/Americas
• Actively grow business with producers and suppliers while servicing needs of current clients
• Market Steel products (flats, longs, beams etc) to end users (construction, vehicle manufacturers etc), travelling to meet clients where appropriate
• Work with other departments to ensure smooth supply process of products
• Monitor news/trends in the market across Steel products to take advantage of trading opportunities

Experience:

• Have an existing book of business within physical Steel Trading (flats, longs, beams etc)
• Worked at a senior trading level for Trading house covering Steel
• Ability to develop new business
• Eligibility to work in Switzerland
• Coverage of sourcing and selling Steel in MENA/USA/LatAm region
• Experienced managing own PnL
