We are looking for a highly motivated professional with a high affinity for numbers, data, a can-do attitude, and strong stakeholder management skills. You will join a dynamic and experienced team of other dedicated and passionate Finance professionals and work with inspiring colleagues from several finance and non-finance functions. The person will be part of the Team within the line organization of CFO, Corporate Functions driving various topics to support Corporate Functions including the client facing organization of the bank, foster cost discipline, identify, and measure impact on the back of investments. The role is key to collaborate with an extensive stakeholder group in the bank across a wide spectrum of topics with a Finance lens as well as to develop a data driven backbone for the team.
YOUR CHALLENGE
Drive Finance / strategic projects/ topics demonstrating very strong conceptual and analytical skills together with a team of other professionals from the CFO division
Develop tools (modelling and visualization) focusing on further automation and more flexible & timely use of data
Conduct quantitative analyses and business case assessments for strategic change initiatives and prepare presentations for senior management
Design and enhance reporting for steering benefits assessment and value creation for change investments
Together with key stakeholders in the Value Streams, define key metrics to measure impact of change investments
YOUR PROFILE
Strong academic record: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Econometrics or comparable field of study with above-average grades
At least 5-7 years of experience in a comparable finance or related function and consulting experience within banking or financial industry
Good knowledge and understanding of the (Private) Banking business
Outstanding conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a strong affinity to quantitative modelling
Proactive ownership of initiatives and ability to drive topics independently
Proven experience in cost management and controlling
Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, Think-cell, and data handling skills
Programming skills (e.g., VBA/Python/SQL/R) as well as data visualization / business intelligence tools knowledge (e.g., Tableau/Power BI) is a great advantage
Strong personal drive with good organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multiple senior stakeholders
Independent, pro-active, efficient, and meticulous work method with a results-oriented mindset
Fluent in English (spoken and written), German is a plus
