For our customer a big pharmaceutical company in Basel (and maybe Rotkreuz) we are looking for Strategic Pricing Monitoring & Insights Specialist (Global Pricing) (m/f/d).
Background:
This role is critical for transforming our global pricing function by establishing robust Monitoring & Insights (M&I) capabilities. The specialist will serve as the hands-on owner for executing the M&I roadmap, focusing on translating complex data into actionable commercial strategy.

Tasks & Responsibilities:
Lead New Report Creation: Proactively architect, pilot, and standardize a suite of new pricing reports, leveraging internal expertise and working with external vendors to build new capabilities with tangible commercial value
Drive Process Optimization: Permanently optimize data extraction, reporting processes, and documentation to increase quality, efficiency, and sustainability standards across the pricing team
Mid-term Own the M&I Deliverable Pipeline: Take full end-to-end responsibility for the M&I product roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of all new reports, dashboards, and analytical tools for Global and Regional stakeholders
Translate Insights to Strategy: Move beyond data delivery to actively develop and communicate data-driven recommendations that directly support life cycle teams and improve pricing strategy outcomes
Develop and Own Customer Area Price Fact Checks: Design, create, and proactively maintain resources that provide accurate, reliable, and up-to-date pricing information for specific customer segments, anticipating stakeholder needs
China M&I Lead: Act as the primary analytic lead for high-priority China-specific workstreams, ensuring all outputs align with the Business strategy:- External Environment Analysis: Independently conduct research on external market factors (competitor pricing, regulatory changes, reimbursement bodies) shaping the national pricing environment- Price Trend Analysis: Track historical price data, analyze price evolutions, and translate these trends into insights on potential future fluctuations and their commercial drivers
Governance and Compliance: Monitor and document pricing trends and methodologies according to Roche compliance standards, ensuring audit readiness and data integrity
Must Haves:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or a relevant Science field
Minimum 5+ years in a commercial, strategic pricing, or Net Revenue Management (NRM) role within the Diagnostic, MedTech or Pharmaceutical industry Proven expertise in creating data-driven price reports and advanced analytics, including proficiency in Excel modeling Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, concise, and persuasive reports for executive and cross-functional stakeholders (e.g., using Tableau or PowerBI) Solution-Oriented and Proactive: A self-starter who consistently surfaces solutions and possibilities rather than problems or constraints. Thrives in ambiguity and independently drives tasks to conclusion. Full Accountability & Ownership: Takes full, end-to-end ownership of deliverables, including necessary administrative steps (e.g., proper documentation and file management), and views the team's success as their primary mandate (,,I will find this out" mentality).
