For our headquarters in Saint-Prex, we are looking for a
Strategic Purchaser
WHAT YOU WILL DO IN YOUR ROLE

• Develop and execute procurement strategies for critical components and materials to reduce total cost of ownership, improve quality, and ensure reliable delivery performance.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best terms and build long-term partnerships that support our technical, commercial, and sustainability goals.
• Collaborate closely with R&D, engineering, and operations, acting as the procurement lead for new product development projects, from concept through launch.
• Identify and assess new suppliers, lead RFxs, perform supplier visits, and onboard strategic partners aligned with our evolving needs.
• Stay ahead of market trends and technology shifts, continuously scanning for opportunities, innovations, and supply risks.
• Track supplier performance and drive improvements through structured reviews and development plans.
• Ensure compliance with ESG, export control, and regulatory requirements, contributing to responsible sourcing practices.
• Ensure that sourcing strategies are consistently applied

THE EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU WILL BRING

• Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in strategic procurement within a manufacturing or industrial environment, ideally in a multi-site and international context.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
• Structured, analytical, and proactive, able to juggle competing priorities while staying focused on impact.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and MS office tools.

• You know how to translate business needs into actionable sourcing strategies, with a solid grasp of cost drivers, supply risks, and market dynamics.
• You are confident in managing complex negotiations and building long-term value through strong supplier relationships.
• You bring a solid understanding of strategic sourcing levers (TCO, dual sourcing, should-costing, supplier development) and how to apply them.
• You are a clear communicator and team player, capable of aligning diverse technical and commercial stakeholders around shared goals.
• You thrive in dynamic environments and enjoy finding ways to continuously improve procurement performance.
