----------------

The Department of Organizational Behavior at the Faculty for Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne provides a stimulating and highly interdisciplinary research environment. We value the diverse areas of expertise among department members, who variously hold Ph.D.s in business, management, psychology, economics, and population biology. More broadly, the Faculty of Business and Economics at the University of Lausanne is one of the largest faculties on campus and consists of 10 integrated departments. Department members come from several different countries, and the working language of the department is English.

At the PaceLab we study social learning and cultural evolution in terms of both basic research and policy, and this work often consists of a mix of modeling and empiricism. Our applied work covers various domains in which behavior has a clear cultural component. These include female genital cutting, corruption, sex-biased abortion, diet and health, and climate change. We have conducted empirical research, largely experimental, in many countries in Africa, the Americas, Europe, and Asia.
