Job Description

We are looking for a Sumex Application Developer to join our team next year and support the existing team in the further development and maintenance of the Sumex environment. We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative individual. The role will focus on configurations, interfaces, build pipelines, and CI/CD processes within the Sumex application environment.

Your future tasks:

Further development and support of application-specific extensions in the Sumex environment Configuration and adaptation of existing build pipelines Support in the DevOps process, especially CI/CD Containerization in Linux environments using Docker, Kubernetes, and in accordance with open OCI (Open Container Initiative) standards Working on interfaces, including debt resolution Contributing to the further development of the work environment with the goal of being able to develop without customer data in the future Contributing to the definition of new packages and environment components (content and priorities will be determined in the new year) Close collaboration with the team for joint problem-solving and knowledge transfer

Your profile:

Solid experience in application development, ideally in the Sumex context Very good knowledge of Java - especially in working with legacy frameworks Experience in DevOps, especially CI/CD, build pipelines, and automation Good knowledge of Linux and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and OCI-compliant container standards Understanding of interface architectures and technical debt reduction Advantage: Experience in developing workstation environments or sandbox approaches without production data
