The Security System Architect is responsible for end-to-end security architecture features across device and operating system layers, like embedding advanced authentication mechanisms and attestation capabilities into next-generation hardware products.. This role is integral to translating business needs into secure, technical solutions and bridging product, engineering, and commercial teams. The Security System Architect will lead strategic security initiatives, shape architecture and technology roadmaps, and serve as a trusted advisor at the business and executive levels.

Drive definition and ownership of security architecture (Secure Element, product certification) of our HID devices systems Define and document technical requirements translating complex business and marketing needs into security and privacy solutions optimized for usability and regulatory compliance. Lead the development of extensible security architectures, considering future innovation such as additional authentication factors and trusted security implementations. Facilitate and guide collaboration among cross-disciplinary teams: Product Management, Engineering, Marketing,, and external technology suppliers. Mentor and support technical teams in implementing secure authentication and attestation capabilities, as well as contributing to continuous security improvement and new technology evaluation. Proactively communicate and educate non-technical and executive stakeholders on risk, requirements, status, and opportunities for differentiation through security.

Key Qualifications:



For consideration, you must bring the following minimum skills and experiences to our team:


Minimum 5 years' experience in hardware/software system security architecture roles for embedded systems. Knowledgeable in security topics (authentication, attestation and certification). Extensive experience working with cross-functional business and engineering stakeholders to shape security requirements and priorities. Advanced executive communication, influence, and stakeholder alignment--able to explain security concepts to non-technical audiences and drive consensus. International working experience; fluency in English required

Preferred Qualifications:



Education:


BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent PMP / Agile certification a plus
