Job Description

L
ead, manage, and mentor a team of risk modelling experts while fostering collaboration. L
ead the continuous development of the L&H risk module within the Internal Model. O
versee and support the yearly calibration process of various L&H risk factors. L
ead projects which go beyond the L&H risk module, such as dependencies to other risk modules, operational risk or credit risk. C
ollaborate with all experts working on the Internal Model to ensure consistency across modules W
ork closely with experts within the Risk Management, L&H Business unit, and L&H Reserving teams within Finance. U
nderstand the implications of model changes and the corresponding regulatory requirements. E
xplain and justify the model in front of senior management and in front of regulatory supervisors. R
equired experience & competencies
S

ubstantial professional experience in actuarial or risk modelling gained in insurance or reinsurance. P
roject or team leadership experience E
xtensive knowledge of L&H actuarial topics K
nowledge in other modelling fields like risk aggregation/dependency modelling, market risk, credit risk or operational risk is advantageous S
olid programming skills (Python experience would be advantageous). D
eep knowledge of Solvency II and/or SST E
xcellent communication skills and ability to adapt style depending on audience A
bility and drive for continuous improvement E
xperience in working in a multi-cultural environment
