The technology organization is the centralized platform and product development organization within Alpiq Digital. The team consists of highly skilled software engineers, data scientists, mathematical experts and project managers. The international and diverse organization is responsible for developing and operating SaaS-based products for the business areas Digital Energy Solutions and E-Mobility Solutions.

Your responsibilities

In your function as Technical Support & Operations Manager Alpiq Digital you will be responsible for:

  • Organizing and managing the technical support including customer support processes for all Alpiq Digital services including B2B and B2B2C services according to the SLA’s
  • Managing infrastructure warranties/replacements and other onsite maintenance services, including the dispatch of technicians to site and the administration of such work orders
  • Coordinating the transition to operations and support for development releases and other project/product deliveries together with the relevant project managers
  • Reporting the performance of the operations (KPIs) according to customers’ and/or suppliers’ SLA’s and identifying, executing and following up on the areas for improvement
  • Working closely with the CTO and PMO organizations, product managers and business managers and provide operational requirements as inputs to projects and product/business initiatives
  • Taking the lead in defining/managing the operations and support processes and to seek continual process improvement
Your profile
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree or an equivalent certification, ideally in a technical, operational or engineering discipline
  • Experience of a minimum of 5 years as a manager of a support function with emphasis on technical/customer support ideally for cloud-based software services and/or infrastructure asset management
  • Fluent in German and English as a minimum; French and/or Italian is an advantage
  • Knowledge and experience of IT Service Management and Project Management Certification is expected
  • General understanding and passion for innovative energy and e-mobility customer focused solutions
  • Team player with good organizational, communications and inter-personal skills
