The Nestle Product Technology Centre Coffee (NPTC Coffee) is the leading R&D organization that discover, develop and deploy coffee and beverage products and technologies for in-home and out-of-home consumption. It consists of units in Konolfingen (CH), Marysville (USA), Orbe (CH) and Singapore and provide new products and processes to all Nestle markets worldwide.

Position Summary

We are looking for a Technology Development Intern to contribute to the development and optimization of innovative manufacturing technologies within the coffee mixes category. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the forefront of technology and innovation.

A Day in the Life of a Technology Development Intern

Conduct internal and external literature reviews on selected manufacturing technologies Plan and execute activities and trials to ensure the development of selected solutions Develop new solutions based on an agreed scope Organize the preparation of prototypes as needed to present outcomes of developed solutions Assess sustainability and cost impact of solutions being developed with support from the project manager Share results of the internship regularly within the technology team Create synergies through effective networking with project team members and stakeholders within the NPTC Interact closely with Technology team members

What will make you successful

Bachelor or Master diploma in progress or completed in Science and Technology, preferably in Food Sciences, Material Sciences, Chemistry, or Physics Demonstrate communication skills and the ability to build personal relationships based on trust Exhibit networking capabilities and a commitment to multidisciplinary teamwork Foster innovation and encourage risk-taking Planification skills and a curious mindset English proficiency ; french would be an asset
