Tool Design Engineer

Job Description
- Design packaging molds (pilot & production) ensuring optimal steel dimensions and cycle times
- Lead core projects focused on mold performance, cost efficiency, and technical innovation
- Convince internal experts and stakeholders on design choices through technical justification
- Prepare detailed CAD models, drawings, and documentation
- Collaborate with technical teams to troubleshoot and optimize designs
- Stay informed on new technologies and best practices in mold design
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Tool Design
- 5+ years of experience in mold design for packaging or similar industries
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or equivalent)
- Strong understanding of mold construction and manufacturing processes
- Ability to influence and communicate effectively with technical experts
- Comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment
